An exciting Biotech business listed on the US Stock Exchange is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join and lead the financial reporting team. The business is growing well and has an exciting future ahead which will lead to some excellent commercial career experience. This is a largely autonomous role taking ownership of the cyclical financial reporting as well as more commercial finance elements including budgeting, forecasting and MI reporting. The business is listed in the US so experience of working in a similar environment is essential. Along with this you must be a strong people manager and communicator.

Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of financial reporting (IFRS and US GAAP)
• Group consolidations
• Ownership of Budgeting and Forecasting
• Production of succinct MI reporting
• Responsibility for SOX reporting and compliance
• Team management and development
• Presentation of financials to senior management
• Involvement in the commercial evolution of the business

Skills/Experience

• Recognised accounting qualification
• Experience of working in a US-listed company
• SEC/SOX reporting experience
• IFRS essential, US GAAP desirable
