Our client is an iconic gaming group with an ever-expanding footprint and a fantastic culture. Due to the continues growth, they require an energetic Financial Controller to help the finance team on an interim basis.

Job Role:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Controller will be responsible for:

• Review of month end reporting (management accounts & KPI reporting), ensuring timely distribution.
• Development of internal controls and accounting policies.
• Assisting in accounting for acquisitions.
• Overseeing preparation of annual financial statements and audit.
• Weekly Cash flow reporting and analysis.
• Submission of statutory returns
• Development of direct reports (team of 20).
• Being instrumental in process improvement and challenging current process.
• Ad-hoc tasks as required by CFO.

The candidate:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 5 years post qualified experience.
• Good technical accounting background with knowledge of IFRS
• Proven history and deep knowledge of head office accounting areas AP/AR/General ledger accounting as well as preferably in a business which includes stock and supply chain
• Experience managing a team
• Good systems skills, Excel, SAP, PowerPoint.
• Experience of working in online, data-driven and consumer centric businesses is an advantage but not essential.
