FP&A Analyst

The Role:

You will proactively partner with the Corporate Real Estate Team to plan, build and adjust real estate finance models to assist in decision support related to the Corporate Real Estate strategy. This role reports into the Senior Manager for Corporate Real Estate Finance and will be supporting the lease transactions globally.

This role will work closely with the Corporate Real Estate strategy and transaction team and requires an understanding of commercial real estate transactions and associated accounting standards. You will be providing financial insight to assist in real estate decision making including consideration for changes to the inputs, integrity and alternative scenarios that might be considered. You will be required to partner with your stakeholders through the planning phase to ensure all relevant interests are considered and allow for future enhancements as requirements are clarified. The role requires flexibility and a high attention to detail.

Profile:

  • You will use your strong communication skills, alongside excellent analytical skills to review, question and analyse the real estate inputs, providing meaningful output to assist in decision making.
  • You will be comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and an ability to vary your communication style for a variety of audiences.
  • You will take a risk mindset in reviewing your models and verify the financials in the business case memos that support the ultimate recommendations.
  • You will have a broad finance knowledge and be able to manage peaks and troughs by partnering with the Shared Service Centre to assist in broader finance activities, including monthly reporting.

Successful candidate:

To be successful, you will be a qualified accountant with previous experience in building flexible, structured and transparent financial model in a highly commercial environment. You should be able to demonstrate a keen interest in financial analysis and a desire to build a career in financial management. A proactive attitude, inquisitive nature, and an ability to quickly grasp new concepts will be key to your success.
