Job description

Our client, a city based leading FX CFD brokerage currently seek a FX Operations Manager/SME to support operational and risk functions full circle. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the onboarding of clients and developing the UK entity as the FX Operations function grows with the business. Our client offers hybrid working.

You must have a proven background in working with institutional clients with a clear understanding of the following FX products; Spot, Forward, NDF, Swaps, Options and Futures and CFDs.

Job responsibilities as FX Operations Manager/SME:

  • You will support the Operations and Risk functions in day to day operations
  • Trade support, monitoring trade fails and reconciliation
  • Deal implementation
  • KYC activity and monitoring with weekly reporting
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting to Senior Management relating to clients, volume and revenue
  • MT4 (and MT5) manager and administration control, as well as OneZero platform (Preferred)
  • Products and process project management for UK entity, internal reporting production and stakeholder information sharing
  • Client conditions monitoring where required - stop outs and margin
  • Reconciling client balances and P & L between trading systems
  • Supporting operations and risk project roll outs and nurturing and managing the framework for efficiency.
  • Onboarding new clients and liquidity

Experience required FX Operations Manager/SME:

  • FX Operations, Risk and trading experience.
  • Experienced in CFD/FX brokerage dealing with professional clients
  • Knowledge of UK regulatory environment and associated risks
  • Good knowledge of MT4/5 and OneZero is desirable
  • Knowledge of market procedures
  • Knowledge of full FX trade life cycle management
  • Strong financial markets awareness
  • Understanding of the importance of compliance and FCA regulations.
  • Appreciation of operational risk

  • Excellent PC skills with understanding of how IT systems
  • Ability to interact professionally with staff, prioritize workload and be a driven self
