Global Programme Manager


My client are a top 10 Travel Management business based in Central London, who have a newly created opportunity for a Global Programme Manager to join their growing organisation.
The NEW Global Programme Manager will be highly competent, and work as part of the Consultancy Services team, focusing on building strong relationships with clients and delivering the best Client Programmes across Air, Hotel and Ground

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the business travel industry working in a similar Client Programme Management/RFP Management position.
  • A positive 'can-do' attitude and team player mentality is a must for this role
  • Outstanding communication skills; caring, passionate who shares a vision to develop strong relationships between suppliers and clients
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, able to work independently and complete tasks to agreed deadlines
  • Strong negotiations skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver project based, profitable Client Programmes for Consultancy Services clients across Air, Hotel and Ground
  • Provide consultative advice and information to internal stakeholders on the benefits for clients when utilising Consultancy Services
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams
  • Conduct meetings with clients to identify requirements and agree on programme brief's
  • Present and sign off programme plans with clients including pricing
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, managing programme timelines to ensure effective delivery of completed programmes
  • Working with suppliers, negotiate and contact industry leading pricing and value add services to exceed client requirements
  • Anticipate and Identify challenges, overcome obstacles and communicate project progress to all stakeholders as required
  • Performance manage the on-going delivery and measurement of the completed Programmes with a view to ensure repeat business for Consultancy Services
  • Build solid, long standing relationships with key suppliers
  • Attend industry events and product showcases as required
