Group Financial Controller - Epping (Office-based)

Salary: Up to £90K-£95K (potential stretch to £100K) | Bonus: ~£10K + discretionary | Benefits: Private medical (including family), 25 days holiday + bank holidays

This is not a BAU finance role. We are looking for a hands-on, transformational finance leader to be the CFO's No. 2 in a rapidly growing international manufacturing and retail business.

The business has grown at a significant rate. Now, the CFO is looking for a finance leader to help drive change, improve processes and controls, and lead ERP/system enhancements across the group.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team across multiple locations.
  • Drive transformation in finance - streamline processes, strengthen internal controls, and implement system/ERP improvements.
  • Deliver group consolidated accounts, management reporting, and Board reporting.
  • Manage cashflow, capex, FX, inventory, and working capital.
  • Partner with commercial, operations, and supply chain teams to provide insight and support growth.
  • Lead audits, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance across all entities.

Who You Are:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) with leadership experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in consolidations, statutory reporting, multi-currency group finance, and audit.
  • Experienced in driving ERP upgrades, improving processes, and embedding strong controls.
  • A confident communicator and coach, capable of building high-performing teams and influencing stakeholders.
