Job description

My client is a forward-thinking Financial Services firm, who are looking for a high-performing, motivated, HR Administrator to join and add value to the London HR team for a 12 month period but it could go permanent.

This role provides the opportunity to kickstart your HR career in a dynamic, growing business.

Key Activities:

The role will initially cover the following areas, with the opportunity to grow over time:

Recruitment

  • Liaising with recruitment agencies and business managers in arranging interviews as instructed
  • Maintaining CV log and issuing responses to direct applicants
  • Play a key role in all aspects of New Joiner On-Boarding process including Pre-employment screening

Learning and Development

  • Coordination of staff training and liaising with training providers on bookings and costs
  • Organising training days, including booking meeting rooms and documents order
  • Updating Training records and collecting pass certificates for employee files
  • Running training reports and ensuring all employees are up to date with their online training by deadlines

Payroll Administration

  • Gathering and submitting changes for Monthly Payroll processing
  • Issuing copies of payslips and Statement of Earnings where required
  • Updating all necessary reports as instructed

Leaver Administration

  • Support team with leaver administration and issuing standard leaver letters
  • Updating HR systems with leaver details and booking exit interviews

Other HR Support & General Administration Duties

  • Support team supervisor in all HR activities not limited to the above
  • Updating HR System with relevant changes
  • Assisting team supervisor with Employee Reward programs (GEM)

Qualifications, skills and competencies required:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • CIPD level 3
  • Ideally have 12 month experience within Financial Services
  • Strong awareness of the need for utmost confidentiality and discretion
