HR Assistant - £24,000 - £25,000

My client who are a growing FX firm are looking to expand their HR function. They are looking for an ambitious HR Assistant to join their dynamic team and help drive their HR strategy forward. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be working with all global teams to support and assist the HR strategy as they grow.

This is an exciting and varied role that will suit someone who is passionate about financial services and HR excellence.

Duties as HR Assistant:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to HR Manager - UK
  • Compile and update employee records
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations)
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys)
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves,)
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
  • Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database
  • Ensure compliance with the regional regulatory bodies

Ideal Candidate will

  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS system
  • Basic knowledge of labour laws (UK)
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role in Finance or Forex
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Outstanding attention to detail - you will ensure that employment contracts and offer packages are in line with our region's specifications
