HR Generalist - London £50,000


This role will partner with and advise managers and employees on a range of programs, procedures, and policies spanning the full employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

PX Program Implementation & Support
(30%)

  • Support and facilitate the communication and rollout of PX programs and policies to leaders and employees; advise on the interpretation of policies and seek guidance from Organisational Effectiveness (OE) & People Success (PS) teams as needed
  • Support the communication and routine processes, including performance management, compensation review, goal setting, etc.
  • Support the deployment of appropriate resources and tools in support of diversity and inclusion initiatives; ensure compliance of local practices with all applicable federal and state laws and guidelines
  • Guide the resolution and escalation of questions regarding PX practices, procedures, and tools; Refer employees to the appropriate channels, whether PS, COEs, or Internal Partners as needed


Performance Management & Employee Relations (ER) (35%)

  • Provide guidance to managers to help support and resolve complex performance management and/or employee relations concerns, including general conflict resolution, management, and coaching; Refer employees to People Success or ER team where appropriate
  • Support managers in addressing employee performance issues, including reviewing and approving documentation such as Performance Improvement Plans
  • Partner with Manager and Sr Manager in regards to Employee Relations
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide summary feedback and guidance to leaders; identify and share trends and opportunities for coaching, learning, and development


Talent Management (30%)

  • Partner with OE team to support in the preparation for and delivery of workshops such as Talent Review sessions, workforce planning, succession planning
  • Support and advise people leaders in the drafting of role specific competencies and job descriptions
  • Partner with leaders on the interpretation of and action planning against employee engagement survey results


Added duties - Talent Acquisition Support (5%)
Qualifications

  • Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working in 2 or more of the following areas: HR Generalist, organizational development, compensation and benefits, recruiting, learning and development, employee relations
  • Working knowledge of state and federal employment standards, laws, and regulations
  • Experience delivering presentations and facilitating workshops to employee groups
  • Intermediate level skill in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing employment guidelines, letters, etc
  • Experience using an HRIS (i.e. Workday preferred)
