Job description

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Officer to support the HR Manager of this busy team of this National Healthcare Group, based London N1.

You will be the backbone of this small and busy HR team and provide an integral HR Service and coordinate various HR Projects. Being the first point of contact for staff in regards to HR related queries and take ownership of various procedures

Mani duties:-

  • Be the point of contact for new starters ensuring details are on the HR system (HR Select) correctly, and send/amend contracts
  • Inform payroll of any contractual changes
  • Ensure HR system is kept up to date with any amendments
  • Send staff files to services
  • Assist the HR Advisor with Employment Tribunals and compile documents for the cases and liaise with our lawyers
  • Liaise with insurers and send requested documents in relation to injury at work claims
  • Manage apprenticeship website
  • Take ownership of the visa processes
  • Update and maintain on Excel spreadsheets T
  • Referrals to Occupational Health
  • Support HR projects
  • Be able to take minutes of various HR meetings
  • Issuing HR letters
  • Updating HR policies as and when required
  • May need to support with ER cases and assist the recruitment team as and when required
  • General HR administration support

Skills Required

  • Previous HR experience is essential - preferably HR Officer
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience of taking minutes at disciplinary meeting would be an advantage
  • Strong intermediate Excel skills
  • Previous reporting experience prefered
  • Ability to take ownership of projects with support from the HR Manager
  • Previous payroll experience
  • Experienced at using HR systems or the ability to pick up new systems
  • Previous Health Care industry experience would be beneficial
  • Used to working in a fast-paced environment and used to changing priorities

Location: London N5 (currently home-based position which will become hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days home
