Job description

I am current recruiting for a IT Support Analyst a growing financial services company based in London. The ideal candidate must have a wealth of experience working within IT Support and have extensive 1st and 2nd line experience.

IT Support Analyst will have the following experience/skills:

Logging all incoming queries on the banks Helpdesk system

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line support in relation to user login and password issues related to network and applications used across the bank
  • Updating, maintaining and reviewing IT equipment inventory
  • Providing software support for VDI's, Desktop clients and laptops
  • Administration of all printers
  • 1st line support for mission critical applications and servers - escalating where necessary.
  • Enforcement and enhancement of established IT policies and processes
  • Proactive monitoring of IT systems to ensure maximum uptime
  • Ensuring all IT policies processes and procedures are maintained.
  • Building new servers / desktops (Virtual)
  • Project work as directed by line management
  • Protecting the business from malicious or accidental misuse
  • Evaluating/Implementing new technologies
  • Ensure VDI templates are maintained and updated on a regular basis
  • 1st line contact for door access / timekeeping

Technical Background

  • Windows Server 2012 / 2016 incl. DFS, Print Management
  • Windows 10
  • Microsoft Exchange 2013
  • Migration of IT systems
  • Microsoft Active Directory 2012 / 2016 incl. DNS, Group Policies, DHCP
  • RDS & Citrix VDI deployment
  • VM Applications
  • UMS
  • Unidesk, Director, Mimecast
  • Solarwinds or other monitoring solutions
  • Trend Anti-Virus (or similar)
  • 2-3 years' experience
