Learning & Development Manager
City of London
£40,000 - £45,000


My Client are an international retail business on the hunt for an L&D Manager to join their team of 3 on a 12 month FTC. This role is also responsible for Emerging Talent, Succession and engagement and culture activities.


Responsibilities as a Learning & Development Manager:

  • Work closely with the Head of HR to design and implement the Learning and Development strategy
  • Develop the performance management programme within the organisation
  • Identify training and development needs at an organisational level
  • Design, develop and deliver training and development programmes
  • Lead on the Apprenticeship scheme
  • Lead on the development of the organisations to further the organisations L&D strategy
  • Support new projects and initiatives and help embed them within the organisation
  • Liaise and lead on negotiations with external training providers


The successful Learning & Development candidate will:

  • Demonstrable experience of designing and delivering Learning and Development interventions
  • Experience of implementing and working with systems
  • Experience of leading on or supporting an apprenticeship scheme
  • Strong stakeholder management
