Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available working as a Letting Coordinator for a Residential Property company.

This is a permanent position. Monday to Friday in their office based in South-West London, with occasional travel to rental properties.

The client is looking for a Lettings Coordinator to join their residential lettings team. This is a varied role encompassing customer service, administration, marketing, and analysis.

Responsibilities as a Lettings Coordinator

  • Conducting property viewings and letting flats through potential tenants.
  • Marketing the properties through company website and other third-party property websites and working with external estate agents.
  • Finding tenants and overseeing them through their property journey.
  • Uploading property and tenancy information, and liaising with the third-party referencing company.
  • Researching and understanding the property market, obtaining up to date rent comparable' s for new lets.
  • Carrying out property handovers and sharer inspections.
  • Being the main point of contact for residential tenants for the duration of their tenancy.
  • Carrying out reporting and analytics for the department, providing KPI updates and distributing weekly letting update lists, preparing letting status reports for the monthly management meeting.
  • Counter charging tenants' repairs and deposit returns and protecting and unprotecting deposits.
  • Ensuring all properties for rental have an EPC certificate and keeping register up to date.
  • Providing references for previous residents.
  • Keeping up to date with new tenancy laws, landlord accreditation, Deposit Protection Service, regulated tenancies/benefit changes and regulations regarding buildings and contents.

Skills and Experience

  • Must have strong administrative skills
  • Previous Lettings or Property experience preferred but not essential.
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Full clean Driver's License
  • Well organised with good attention to detail
  • Strong communicator who is flexible, accountable, diplomatic, and confident with a polite manner.

This is a full time, permanent position. Paying £30,000 - £35,000 based on experience. Based in the office Monday to Friday in South-West London with occasional travel to rental properties
