Exciting opportunity for an experienced Logistics Operator to join an International Commodities organisation based in London.

As the Logistics Operator it is essential you are hoghly organised and proactive, with extensive knowledge of International shipping, import/export, logistics and accounting procedures to join their London team.

Strong SAP experience is highly advantageous.

As the Logistics Operator you must have strong communication skills and will be responsible for a broad range of duties such as (but not limited to);

• End to end process of shipping commodities; liaising with suppliers and customers to organise delivery schedules, all documentation inputting on SAP system and the keeping of accurate shipping, accounting and stock records.
• Liaising with the Chamber of Commerce for legalisation of documents/applications for possible export licenses.
• Applying for credit insurance, SCRs and credit lines for existing and new customers.
• Applying for approval and arranging renewal of contracts for our consultants in European offices.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in a similar role as a logistics operator type role, involving the administration of import/export/logistics within a large organisation / freight forwarding company.
