My Client, one of UKs most prestigious investment trusts based in the City, with a gross total assets of £900m, are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team. As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of subsidiary month end procedures and management accounts
• Assist with the preparation group management accounts
• Upgrade and implementation of new processes
• Support investment and management accountant with month end procedures
• Support with interim and annual audit
• Journal preparation and posting
• Review of bank and balance sheet reconciliations

As a Management Accountant you will need:

• 3-5 years' experience within management accounts
• Experience in reviewing accounts
• Part/ Qualified ACCA/ ACA /CIMA
• Intellectually curious, independent thinker, problem solver
• Competent user of accounting software (experience of Microsoft Dynamics an advantage)
• Excellent communication skills
• Good time management, organisational and planning skills - ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
• Intermediate/ advanced Excel skills
