Our FX Client is looking for an experienced, motivated and energetic Assistant Media Relations Manager to join their growing Global team. You will report directly into the Hong Kong Office but you will have full Global Autonomy hence why we need a self-starter.

Duties:

• Manage media requests in a timely and professional manner
• Draft press releases, pitches, case studies, white papers, and media summaries
• Build relationships with new global media contacts and maintain relationships with existing contacts
• Pitch story ideas and content to media
• Ensure all communication is cohesive with the brand image
• Track and analyse media coverage to inform future campaigns
• Measure PR program impacts using regular reporting
• Organise, schedule, and prepare key leaders for press interviews

The successful candidate:

• Degree educated ideally in Communications, Journalism, public Relations or Marketing
• Financial services experience is essential. FX knowledge would be ideal
• Proven in-house/agency media relations or journalism background
• Excellent writing, analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Experience of developing and managing PR campaigns and achieving coverage in the national press
