A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Marketing Officer to work for this membership body based in central London

You will be supporting the Marketing Manager with all Marketing communications to their Members including :-

• To be confident in writing membership marketing material, copy writing / editing various material to members, edit and proof reading
• Support communications mapping and liaise with relevant stakeholders internally to deliver the various messages as part of the member journey through the relevant channels
• Maintain merchandising
• Review members applications and update sending welcome letter etc

Required Experience

• Experience of working within a marketing, communications or recruitment/retention environment, ideally within a membership organisation or charity (must understand marketing principles)
• Ideally a qualification in marketing (though not essential)
• Excellent copywriting (vital; from email copy to campaign messages on leaflets and web - must be able to put the audience at the forefront and balance this with the company'sbranding etc
• Strong and confident communicator - both oral and written skills
• Adept at briefing and working with creative teams/designers (internal and external)
• Able to liaise with colleagues across different departments
• Core administrative skills (raising POs/invoicing), as well as multi-tasking and prioritizing work loads
• IT Proficient including:
  • Microsoft packages particularly excel, word
  • Digital channels (ideally MailChimp or equivalent bulk email systems; SurveyMonkey)
