Job description
Spa Receptionist
Reporting to: Reception manager/Spa Manager
Exciting opportunity to work for a 5* private members Health club / Spa, based in West London.
Shift Rota Hours: 7:30am - 6:30pm or 10:30am - 9.:30pm, ad hoc Saturday!

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all hourly reception duties are completed.
- Responsibility for ensuring all displays are updated and changed regularly.
- Ensuring the highest level of service is given to all spa members and guests at all times.
- Account all discrepancies in banking and float.
- Ensure the daily checklist is complied with at all times.
- Interacts & communicate effectively with clients, members, team members (within team and cross-functionally), guests & management team.
- Ensure punctuality when starting your shift
- Total all members, guests, male and staff sessions for reports
- Check all payment sheets are up to date, correct and all member accounts are charged correctly.
- Manage all outstanding payments and debtors.
- Ensure all spa menus, consultation forms and checklists are stocked and up to date.
- Ensure a relaxed, welcoming and professional atmosphere at KX spa reception at all times
- Ensure all spa retail stock is kept organised and securely stored.
- Ensure that all spa rules are abided by clients and staff at all times.
- Ensure correct cash handling procedures.
- Undertake any additional responsibilities reasonably required by management.
- Takes ownership to attend & actively participate in Departmental and team meetings.
- Undertake and execute treatment procedures, ensuring up to date knowledge at all times.
- Gain an understanding of and pro-actively work towards the achievement of Departmental financial and operational targets.
- Work towards and achieve sales targets as outlined by the Spa Manager
- Participate and be actively involved in promoting the Spa , products and activities
- Undertake such other duties as the Spa Manager may from time to time reasonably require.
- Work closely alongside other Team Members and Manager to identify training & development needs and opportunities for self on an ongoing basis.
- Share information and work effectively with team members to establish and support a positive working relationship and fun team environment.
- Interact and regularly liaise with team members cross functionally to ensure an overall awareness of activities within the department and club.
- Ensure that clients receive an efficient, friendly, consistent and personalised service,
Managing customer feedback effectively - Ensure any issues or compliments are escalated and dealt with appropriately to enable long-term improvements in products and services.
- Maintain standards of personal appearance, hygiene and cleanliness of area in line with Company and departmental requirements.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of Health & Safety
- Ensure your working environment is kept clean and tidy, adhering to the reception and relaxation area standards and check list at all times
