Job description

An experienced Receptionist is required by our client, a Commodity Trading Company, to join there London offices. You will be working alongside another receptionist as a team of two to providing a first-class service to visitors. As front of house Receptionist you will be required to have exceptional customer service skills to be able to liaise with members of staff to inform when visitors have arrived as well as building reception regarding security passes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced front of house Receptionist who has worked for a corporate company previously.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the switchboard, screen calls, answer the telephone in a timely manner and provide clear concise messages to relevant staff members
  • Ensure that reception and meeting rooms are maintained to a high standard
  • Responsible for keeping the meeting room booking system updated, ensuring the meetings are running to times and where necessary, communicate to organisers that they are approaching the end of their meeting time
  • Arrange taxi reservations via an online booking system or liaise with the in-house taxi service team
  • Assist in planning and arranging office events
  • Maintain inventory and stock of supplies such as stationary, business cards. Refrigerator refreshments
  • Log incoming invoices and provide details to the Accounts department
  • Support with any filing and administrative duties as required

Skills & Experience

  • Previous Front of House experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Experience of using the Cisco switchboard
  • Exceptional verbal, written and customer service skills
