Job description
An exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our client, a Global Insurance Company, in their lively Bedford Office. As Receptionist you will be required to provide a professional, friendly and efficient service to all internal and external clients.
Responsibilities
- Ensure clients and visitors are looked after expertly and efficiently
- Assist with the administration of the meeting room system to ensure the efficient utilisation of both client facing and internal meeting rooms
- Lead and record expenses of company credit card
- Assist the Reception Manager when required
- Administration - assisting with ad-hoc typing duties
- Observe and carry out all vita security arrangements
- Assist with booking couriers
- Assist with operating the switchboard
- Ensure all reception areas are presentable. Liaise with the cleaning company when needed.
- Help aid the Hospitality team to ensure that the Client Conference Suite is always orderly
Skills & Experience
- Technical knowledge re: switchboard
- Experience of working in a corporate reception team or similar environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deliver high quality face-to-face contact with clients and visitors
- Maintain a professional manner when answering the telephones
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good time management and prioritisation skills
