Receptionist - £30,000

Our client who are a membership body are looking to hire a professional front of house Receptionist. They are a friend bunch so are looking for someone that is happy to go the extra mile. Shift patten will be 8-4pm, 5 days per week.

The Front of House team consists of 3 people including a Facilities and AV Assistant. Overall responsibility for the group is the Director of Business Support and this role will also provide some secretarial and administrative support to that Director.

Reception duties:

  • Meet and greet visitors in a professional manner and ensuring they are well looked after
  • Front of house reception, answering and directing switchboard calls from 2 sites
  • 1st point of contact for Internal and External room bookings for both London and Grantham hubs
  • Preparing information for upcoming events and liaising requirements with catering company and Facilities Assistant
  • Maintaining stationery stock and ordering when necessary for both London and Grantham Hub
  • Provide secretarial and administrative assistance to Director of Business Support
  • Distributing incoming post to the relevant staff members and tenants
  • General office administration
  • Arranging couriers/taxis/travel/accommodation for staff members and volunteers
  • Management of our guest cloakroom
  • Compiling and reporting consumption information to Accounts Team
  • Liaise with team at Grantham for venue hire and events
  • Support the Front of House Supervisor in liaising with contracted out cleaning and other service providers
  • Opening and closing of the building
  • Understand fully the AV and Video Conference facilities
  • Assist in setting up of events, if required
  • During busy periods assisting facilities assistant with room/AV set up
  • Flexibility to work late during evening events (overtime paid)

Skills

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Must have or be willing to gain first aid and fire marshal, and health and safety in the workplace training
