Our client, an international SME bank with a window into Islamic finance, are currently expanding their Risk division, within their central Zone 1, London Headquarters. And hiring a group level, Senior 'Risk Assurance Manager'.

Offering a competitive package including base salary up to £70,000, non-contributory pension, discretionary yearly bonus, wellbeing perks and 2 days per week working from home. You will also report directly to the Chief Risk Officer, and support improvement of risk controls across all 3 LoD.

Other responsibilities include:

• Embedding and improving risk frameworks and policies including the enterprise risk wide policies.
• Operating at a group level and reporting / communicating risks to stakeholders across the business at senior levels
• Conducting risk assessments and supporting the CRO with regulatory reporting.

Ideally you will be or have experience in…

• At least 3 years of previously working within Risk in a Banking environment
• Knowledge and experience of improving 1st and 2nd line risk metrics including operational risks, governance controls and risk frameworks
• Exposure to the 3rd line of defence i.e., communicating with audit stakeholders and working within an assurance capacity
• Experience with embedding risks policies and maintain the risk register
• Strong communication skills and an ability to advise and report to senior stakeholders.
