Job description

Rapidly expanding, London-based FinTech are looking to hire a Sales Operations Specialist to come/join their team and support its growing sales organisation engage with retail and affiliate partners.

The purpose of the Sales Operations Specialist is to provide operational support to the Sales and Partnerships team so they are able to deliver extraordinary results. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who is able to work autonomously and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment in which they can exceed expectations through personal drive. You should enjoy working closely with sales and be hungry for a challenge.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing merchant performance reports
  • Applying, responding to and boarding merchant programmes via target affiliate networks
  • Analysing, Identifying and optimising merchant links for highest paying commission rates
  • Merchant management and onboarding to ensure the quick and efficient launch of new merchants
  • Working with Marketing to proactively promote our client to merchants
  • Develop and manage a deal checklist to ensure all opportunities are being followed up accordingly and holding internal stakeholders accountable for timely delivery
  • Support sales team with constructing quotes/pitches and other opportunity related documents
  • Ensure contracts, pricing, and collateral meet internal guidelines and are always up to date
  • Management reporting, sales metrics creation and measurement
  • Maintain Merchant CRM for the Sales team (opportunities, prospects and value) for prospecting, opportunity management and reporting
  • Prospect and industry research, helping identify unforeseen opportunities and strategic partnerships

Ideal candidates should have the following key skills and experience;

  • 3+ years' experience in Sales Operations or Sales Enablement function, ideally from high growth, rapidly evolving business
  • Sound financial & commercial acumen
  • Highly analytical, with a proven ability to synthesise and analyse large amounts of data, then develop insights and recommendations
  • Strong proficiency in Excel. You love a pivot table and have strong data analysis skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint to develop a clear compelling story leveraging data, market research and well-structured slides.
  • Excellent time management and ability to deliver on multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to engage and work effectively with cross-functional and senior stakeholders
  • Experience in E-Commerce, retail, payments or technology-related businesses an advantage
  • SQL experience an advantage
  • Tableau / Qlik experience an advantage
  • Have experience working in a hyper-scaling business
