Senior HR Manager

My client who are a London-based Assessment firm are looking to expand their team! They are looking for a number 2 to the Head of HR who is a hands-on, operational generalist Senior HR Manager.

As Senior HR Manager you will work closely with the HR team in the day-to-day operational function, projects and new initiatives. You will be developing strong business relationships with all levels of staff, senior management and key stakeholders.

This role will suit someone with 5+ years HR Management experience ideally within Financial Services.

Responsibilities as HR Manager:

  • Overseeing a team of 2
  • Provide a full operational and generalist HR service, including but not limited to the induction process, probation process, recruitment, learning and development, performance, international assignments, projects, HRIS and associated administration
  • Provide employee relations/employment law advice as and when required
  • Provide guidance and advice on employee relation issues including leading and assisting in grievances, disciplinaries, capability processes
  • Assist with ensuring that employee manuals are up-to-date to reflect relevant legislation
  • Assist with ensuring contracts of employment templates are up-to-date and reflect any relevant legislation changes
  • Provide support and advice to employees across the network on human resources policies and procedures
  • Administer various HR Rule processes from start to finish to ensure compliance, including the Consultant Appointment approval process

Preferable experience:

  • Previous management experience
  • CIPD Level 7 qualified or equivalent
  • Experience in Financial Services
  • Strong relationship management
