Senior Administrator - Capital Markets

Job Description

In this role, the Senior Administrator - Capital Markets will play a key part in the client's client onboarding process, collaborating closely with the Transaction Management team. Responsibilities include ensuring the timely onboarding of transactions and setting up new client structures on the client's technology platforms (eFront & Microsoft Dynamics NAV) in a controlled manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Onboarding:
    • Collaborate with the Transaction Management team to facilitate the onboarding of transactions in a timely manner.
    • Ensure the setup of new client structures on the client's technology infrastructure, maintaining control and accuracy.
  2. Administration of Client Matters:
    • Manage the day-to-day administration of a designated portfolio of client matters related to client Loan and Asset portfolios, with a focus on loan and transaction documentation.
    • Perform operational functions related to the provision of account bank, calculation agent, and facility agent services.
  3. Risk Management:
    • Mitigate risk exposure by strictly adhering to risk review procedures and operational processes.
    • Promptly escalate any arising issues to other members of the Management team and Directors, as necessary.
  4. Billing and Debt Collection:
    • Efficiently manage client fee arrangements, including billing and aged debt collection.
  5. Project Participation:
    • Actively engage in departmental projects aimed at enhancing client delivery and increasing operational efficiency.
  6. Client Engagement:
    • Play an active role in addressing ongoing client-related matters and inquiries.
  7. Additional Duties:
    • Fulfill any additional functions or activities as reasonably required by the Management team.

Qualifications

  • Education: Degree standard preferred, but applications from candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • 2-3 years or more of relevant financial services or professional experience, ideally in a client-facing role within a banking operations department, Corporate Trust business, or a similar organization.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly proficiency in Excel and experience with asset administration systems (e.g., eFront, NAV, Solvas (formerly CDO Suite), Loan IQ).
  • Proven client handling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Strong technical skills in the Corporate Trust Loan and Asset Administration arena.
