Our Client seeks a Qualified Tax Financial Accountant to join their business based in Maidenhead. The Tax Financial Accountant will prepare company and client tax forms and data while offering tax accounting advice to both clients and internal company departments. Maintains and updates working knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including new filing practices, deadlines, and any company specific information This is an expanding Organisation who is working to a 5-year growth plan.

Key duties of the Tax Financial Accountant include:

• Prepares and submits company tax fillings in conjunction with external tax advisors
• Work with external tax advisors on more complex tax matters
• Prepare tax accruals for company records and accounts
• Work with other departments to understand business practices and new projects and communicate the tax implications of all business practices to senior company Managers
• Maintain and update knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including new filing practices, deadlines, and any company-specific information
• Member of management accounts team, assist in monthly period end close process
• Preparation of monthly financial performance reports
• Timely and accurate analysis of business up to profit & loss
• Reconcile certain balance sheet accounts
• Ad-hoc projects

Knowledge & Skills required for the Tax Financial Accountant include:

• Qualified Accountant with tax experience of Qualified CTA
• Minimum 1 year Post Qualification experience PQE
• Previous experience in corporate tax compliance
• Knowledge of direct and indirect tax matters
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
