Job description

International Bank based in the heart of the city currently looking for a Transaction Business Support Officer to join them on a permanent basis. This role offers hybrid working.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities of Transaction Business Support Officer:

  • Assist in the preparation of business plans, internal reports/reviews and administrative communications;
  • Prepare regular reports on transaction banking activities, including transaction volumes, revenues and client feedback.Working with cross-functional teams.
  • Collate monthly, quarterly and annual performance monitoring statistics and ensure RMs provide timely updates;
  • Collect departmental business data and regular analysis to provide insights.
  • Assist in the implementation and improvement of processes related to transaction banking services.
  • Serve customers regarding transaction banking inquiries and requests.Coordinate with relationship managers to address customer needs and provide timely responses.
  • Assist to draft department promotional materials and customise the client proposal solutions.
  • Work closely with other business support functions, risk management and compliance teams to maintain a cohesive and efficient working environment.
  • ensure comply with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures applicable to the conduct of the business in which the Jobholder is involved, including working closely with other departments, primarily middle and back office.
  • Manage a demanding and reactive workload in a responsive manner to assist the department in meeting key objectives and external regulatory requirements;
  • Undertake all required activities as directed by the Line Manager, Head of Department or as agreed in the annual objectives to support the achievement of the departmental KPls;
  • Work flexibly across the service, working on a range of activities to provide proactive support.
  • Work liaise with colleagues and team leaders to identify areas for improvement, ensuring that the provision of support remains appropriate for all members of the department;

Skills Required:

  • Professional experience in a banking, Fintech, corporate treasury related industry preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Team player,Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Diligence (attention to detail) and high productivity;
  • An ability to learn, adapt quickly and work under pressure, as well as to work digitally and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of transaction banking products and related services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.
  • Fluency in Mandarin as well as English is also desirable.
