Job description

My client is a world-renowned sports marketing agency based in the Heart of the West End with offices in all key International 'hubs'. The business is going through a rapid growth stage doubling in size year on year.

Description

This role offers the right candidate the opportunity to get involved in transactional finance across the international group.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the transactional finance team covering all global companies with responsibility for ensuring all finance transactions are accurately recorded and that all deadlines are met
  • Day to day management of the team, ensuring workloads are prioritised accordingly
  • Oversee the work of the team to ensure proper review and compliance
  • Manage Bank admin
  • Recruit and provide appropriate training of staff
  • Coach and develop team, set objectives, provide guidance and feed-back and identify personal development opportunities
  • Review processes and recommend improvements / opportunities to streamline/lead change initiatives
  • Drive the efficient collection of debtors across the business
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders ensuing excellent relationships are built and maintained
  • Assist with year-end audit requirements

Skills:

  • Proven experience of leading/managing and developing a transactional finance team in a complex, high volume environment
  • Have a proven ability to engage and motivate people, identifying people development opportunities and coaching one to one
  • Be able to inspire an environment of continuous improvement and great customer service
  • Ability to manage own and team workloads to ensure and KPI's are achieved
  • Ability to work under own initiative and prioritise tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
  • Ability to identify and manage the implementation of process improvements
  • Control and compliance minded, ensuring team adhere to all company policy and processes
  • IT literate with intermediate / advanced Excel skills
