Treasury Executive

Client:

An opportunity has arisen to work for a leading multi-national organisation. Owing to internal changes this organisation is seeking a commercially astute finance professional to work closely with Operations. Supporting efficient and effective accounting services for group finance and subsidiary business units in accordance with company policies and procedures. A key role within the business supporting the Treasury Manager in the delivery of Treasury.

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Treasury, the Treasury Executive will assist with the ongoing management of:

  • Deal with day to day activities, ensuring transactions are prioritised correctly and completed in a timely manner
  • To have the accounting knowledge to book Treasury transactions in SAP
  • Professional and timely processing of contracts, from request, booking, confirmation, settlement and accounting entries
  • Arrange settlement of payments in a timely and professional manner in a range of different banking systems using a variety of payment methods
  • Problem solving including liaising with banks and counterparties to investigate and arbitrate on payment queries - provide solutions using experience and Treasury knowledge via established Treasury processes
  • SAP Registrations - knowledge of international payment formatting and of anti-fraud awareness
  • Account Documentation
  • Monthly reporting tasks
  • Provide advice and information to other members of the organisation
