Job description
JOB ROLE:
Work as part of a small AP team including a payments officer to raise requisitions and service entry sheets; to process all invoices and expenses to ensure payment in a timely manner. The company uses SAP and the preference would be for the incumbent to have solid RTP experience and a demonstrable aptitude in SAP.
Role includes the following key responsibilities
MUST HAVES:
Work as part of a small AP team including a payments officer to raise requisitions and service entry sheets; to process all invoices and expenses to ensure payment in a timely manner. The company uses SAP and the preference would be for the incumbent to have solid RTP experience and a demonstrable aptitude in SAP.
Role includes the following key responsibilities
- Initiation of purchase requisitions in SAP based on requests from FTRM team and other corporate stakeholders
- Engaging with Supply Chain to ensure approved requisitions result in approved purchase orders
- Processing of service entry sheets for the FTRM team, pro-actively managing unreceipted items
- Engaging FTRM and other corporate budget holders to ensure purchase requisitions are raised to cover items included in the budget
- Assist in the reconciliation of the SR/IR/GR balance sheet account as part of the month end cycle
- The team has KPI's on a team basis with regards to processing invoices which each team member is expected to help support and meet
- Proactive in looking for opportunities to make process improvements and resolve recurring issues
- Work closely with the extended team, Supply Chain, and budget holders to troubleshoot issues in relation to the timely processing and payment of invoices
