Your Opportunity
Our London office is currently seeking an exceptional Accounts Payable Officer to join our Accounts Department on a 6 month on going contract. With previous experience in a similar role, you will apply your excellent customer service standards, ensuring internal and external clients are provided with service and information that is accurate.
About you:
Reporting to the Assistant Accountant, the primary purpose of this role is to provide administration functions within the Accounts Payable Team by ensuring all procedures and processes are adhered to; and correct reconciliation and payment of accounts are done so within a timely manner.
The responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Posting of all supplier invoices across all YOTEL entities, both HQ entities and hotel properties
- Ensure strict adherence to all finance policies for purchasing and employee expenses in accordance with the approval matrix
- 1+ year experience
- SUN software experience is ESSENTIAL
- Posting of employee expenses into SUN accurately as per the policy
- Running the payment run report for review and approval
- Perform ad-hoc tasks requested by management
Administration
- Set up and maintain supplier records in SUN, IPOS and all other relevant systems
- Responsible for the filing of all supplier records and invoices
Being part of our Accounts Payable Team, you will have the ability to build effective working relationships with internal & external clients. You will utilise your excellent communication skills, prioritisation and time management abilities on a day to day basis, to meet department deadlines. You will have high attention to detail skills and accuracy with sound Microsoft Excel skills. Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
