Global Organisation seeks an experience Accounts Payable Manager to join the business. The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for delivering timely and accurate payments to suppliers

Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Manger includes

  • Manages and supervises the accounts payable department.
  • Ensures that systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensures that the accounts payable and the company's financial obligations are met efficiently.
  • Keep track of the company's financial expenditures and provide reports as and when requested by supervisors.
  • Oversee all electronic payment transactions.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders and the Operational Procurement team to identify and implement process efficiencies and governance improvements.
  • Developing the team of AP specialists, not only to excel in their existing roles but also to understand their career and ambitions and ensuring they develop the skills they will need for their next step.
  • Working with the automation team to identify and implement automation opportunities.
  • Simplifying and aligning processes across the merged companies.
  • Supporting the team to investigate and resolve complex issues.
  • Will oversee data entry, validation, and processing of various types of invoices
  • Keeps track of the status of all transactions taking place within the company and external vendors and contractors.
  • Standardize procedures to generate efficiency in-house and create internal templates to be used by the company.
  • Forecast cash requirements based on payables becoming due throughout a multinational group and liaise with group treasury

Requirements for the AP Manager include:

  • Problem-solving capabilities.
  • Oracle or SAP experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, superiors, and customers.

  • Good presentation skills.
  • Well planned, organized with keen attention to detail.
