Your Mission in This Role
Design & Implement Cloud Security Policies
Develop and maintain robust security frameworks across public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.Security Monitoring & Incident Detection
Continuously monitor cloud ecosystems to identify anomalies and flag security-relevant activities in real time.Cloud Risk Management & Emergency Planning
Lead cloud-specific risk assessments and define proactive measures. Organize and coordinate vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and incident response protocols.Compliance & Regulatory Alignment
Ensure full adherence to cloud security standards and best practices, particularly ISO/IEC 27017 and 27018.Collaboration & Incident Response
Partner with internal response teams to investigate, mitigate, and document security incidents as they arise.Enablement & Knowledge Transfer
Host regular training sessions, workshops, and advisory consultations for stakeholders during cloud adoption or transformation projects.
What You Bring to the Table
Educational Foundation
Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a related discipline - or equivalent training with a focus on cloud security (e.g. IT specialist).Certifications That Matter
Recognized security credentials such as CCSP, CEH, or similar are highly valued.Cloud Security Expertise
Practical experience working in cloud-based environments with a deep understanding of modern threat landscapes.Strong Technical Toolkit
Proficiency in key cloud security concepts: Identity & Access Management (IAM), VPC design, firewalls, encryption methods, and secure architecture principles for AWS, Azure, or GCP.Automation Know-how
Experience implementing automated security controls and using orchestration tools to streamline cloud operations.Network & Application Security
Solid understanding of securing network, application, and data layers within cloud-native and hybrid setups.Language Proficiency
Fluent in both German and English, with the ability to communicate clearly across teams and stakeholders.Personal Attributes
You work independently and with flexibility, tackle challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, and bring clarity to complex technical matters through excellent communication skills.
