Job description

Our client, a rapidly expanding professional services firm based in Central London are searching for a highly capable qualified accountant with PQE working in an FP&A/Analyst role within a professional services or project based environment. This job opportunity will be offered on a temp-to-perm basis and we are searching for someone who is available at short notice.

You'll work closely with senior leadership, including the Partner and CFO, supporting the firm's financial reporting, forecasting, pricing, and ERP optimisation efforts. Your work will directly influence how the firm budgets, prices, scales, and measures performance.

In this role, you'll:

  • Produce dynamic, insight-led reporting on financial and commercial performance

  • Build, enhance, and maintain financial models for budgeting and re-forecasting across revenue, cost, and margin

  • Support board-level reporting with performance metrics, dashboards, and commentary

  • Forecast and monitor cash flow and balance sheet to support capital and liquidity decisions

  • Develop pricing models and conduct job costing to inform deal strategy and profitability

  • Shape and structure financial data requirements for ERP implementation and optimisation

  • Deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support timely decision-making in a dynamic environment

  • Build and maintain dashboards and models in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools for self-serve reporting

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or commercial reporting in a fast-paced or project-based environment

  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights

  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Power BI

  • Knowledge of ERP systems and financial data structures

  • A strong understanding of financial fundamentals, including forecasting, budgeting, cash flow, and job costing

  • Confidence engaging across departments and presenting data-driven insights to senior stakeholders

  • A collaborative and curious mindset, with a strong interest in innovation and analytics

  • Experience in a professional services or advisory environment is highly desirable

On offer is a salary between £75,000-£85,000 per annum plus an annual bonus and additional benefits. Our client operates to a hybrid working model of 2-3 days per week in the office
