Our client is a global leader in retail. We are looking to recruit a talented Financial/Consolidations Accountant to join the senior Finance team.

The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

• Prepare and execute the monthly consolidations to produce financial reports
• Review of financial performance of business
• Preparation of quarterly, half year and year-end reporting
• Liaise across the business to ensure the broader entities are provided advice and support to set the highest financial and regulatory reporting controls are maintained
• Support the Finance Manager with additional reporting requirements
• Ad hoc projects as require

Skill and experience:

• Newly qualified ACA/CA/CAANZ with 2 + years experience in industry
• 5 years experience in an accounting function
• Experience in the delivery of the core accounting functions ideally with listed company experience..
• Proven process improvement methodologies.
• Must be able to work accurately and to set reporting deadlines.
• French Speaker is a bonus
