KennedyPearce are currently recruiting a Credit Controller for a London based events company. The role will be reporting into the Finance Director and you will have full responsibility of the Ledger. Your main responsibilities will be to collect debtor invoices efficiently whilst maintaining best customer service practice and maximise cash flow and minimise bad debt.

About the role
We're looking for a Credit Controller to join our team in Covent Garden. As part of our Credit Control function, your key responsibilities will include:

• Sole responsibility for a the collection of portfolio of approximately 1500 live accounts
• Collecting outstanding invoices by telephone and email in various countries
• Despatching Dunning Letters in line with the collections diary
• Despatching Statements on a monthly basis
• Taking credit card payments via online portal
• Setting up Direct Debits and Negotiating Payment Plans
• Running the cancellation invoice report and escalating outstanding invoices to third party for collections
• Reporting insurances to third party to establish if client policies are adequate for show
• Taking invoices out of dispute when resolved and pressing for payment or matching credit notes
• Maximising collections by achieving cash target
• Minimising aged debt, bad debt and DSO

Your experience

• Ideally 1-2 years relevant experience in Credit Control
• Proficient in excel (Pivot tables, vlookups)
• Customer Service
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
• Attention to detail
• Excellent customer service
• Driven, self-starter
• Excellent communication skills
