Our client is an iconic Real Estate & Hospitality group with an ever-expanding footprint and a fantastic culture. Due to the continues growth, they require an energetic Finance Analyst to help the finance team on a permanent basis.

Overview:

The Finance Analyst will lead on commercial finance reporting, analysis and forecasting for all commercial business units.

This team member will be involved across all activities of the function, including:

Reporting & analysis

• Business partner to all departments to support with understanding & challenging performance by providing financial analysis & insight
• Support the weekly trading meeting by producing the supporting KPI report for all business units
• Work closely with all departments to review business unit P&Ls each month end
• Produce & develop the management reporting pack for month end including commentary & any supplementary analysis
• Support the annual budget process including planning, timelines & supporting presentation packs
• Support inputs and analysis for the business plan and asset owner queries as required
• Support with the financial evaluation of new business initiatives

Financial controls & governance

• Work with the Financial Controller to maintain all controls as outlined in the financial control framework
• Support the maintenance of finance policies & procedures for the business
• Complete accounting reconciliations to support the review process of financial statements
• Support with the external audit program
• Work with the System Accountant to maintain the integrity of financial data

Other

• Support other members of the finance team as required
• Ad hoc requests as required

Background:

• ACCA / CIMA / ACA part/fully qualified with 2-3 years min experience in a similar finance role
• Experience in business partnering
• Experience of month-end close & reporting
