My client, based in West London is looking for a Finance Manager to join their head office team.

Reporting to the Finance Director the Finance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Lead, manage, develop and coach a team, supporting them with personal development, welfare, general queries, morale and motivation
  • Set team and individual KPI's for review with the Financial Controller and CFO
  • Continuously check in with the team to ensure team KPI's are on track
  • Manage the yearly appraisal process
  • Provide recommendation and implement effective financial processes and procedures to support strategic growth
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts tight deadlines
  • Regular reporting on the commercials and insightful analyses on the business, profitability and KPI management
  • Continuous improvements on management reporting that is provided for the wider business
  • Manage all legislative requirements within Finance
  • Support the Financial Controller managing monthly payroll process and input via external payroll provider.
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Produce and arrange file for review
  • Construct, collate and distribute commentary for P&L variances
  • Assist Financial Controller with annual budget preparation
  • Ensure all general Finance processes are documented and accurately recorded in preparation for audit
  • Project manage the implementation of a new Finance and ERP systems
  • Providing analysis and advice on smart cost saving initiatives into key international markets
  • Manage and oversee our Accounts Payable division, always investigating new and efficient ways of working that will improve the teams overall productivity
  • Authorise invoices and payment
  • Manage and oversee the team to ensure timely receipt of customer payment and outstanding customer relationship management
  • Monitor and review weekly Accounts Receivable reports ahead of communication to internal stakeholders

You will:

  • Be ACA qualified from Big 4 accounting firm
  • 4 years post qualified experience in industry, ideally FMCG, retail or similar
  • Experience as a Financial Controller
  • Degree educated
