My client is a leading Investment bank listed on the New York Stock Exchange currently looking to recruit for a Qualified Financial Accountant.

Role responsibilities:

• Working in the UK financial controllership team to ensure that VAT systems are kept up to date
• Reviewing VAT returns are prepared by outsourcing partner for various branches of the UK business
• Performing Balance Sheet Reconciliations for the VAT accounts.
• Working in partnership with the tax team by logging errors
• Must have IFRS/GAAP knowledge
• Strong technical Audit and Statutory preparation knowledge

Candidate requirements:

• Must be qualified ACA/ACCA/CA/CAANZ
• Ideally Immediately available/1 week notice period
• Ideally worked within Banking/ Wider Financial Services industry- PE/AM/IM
