A leading Real Estate Company based in the City are looking for a Financial Accountant to join the team. As the Financial Accountant the role involves preparing statutory accounts for the companies' entities which are accurate and include all relevant disclosures and to work with site finance teams to improve quality of reporting and balance sheets reconciliations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Co-ordinate external audit process and be a key point of contact for the external auditors
• Develop audit and tax packs for completion by sites to assist with the audit and tax computation process
• Develop quarterly intercompany reconciliation process and protocols
• Development of finance policies
• Perform any other duties as requested by Senior Management

Essential Requirements

• Educated to Graduate level or equivalent (ACA/ACCA qualification)
• Previous experience of working in financial accounting and audit environment
• Hands on accounts preparation experience
• Be familiar with accounts packages
• Understanding of UK tax compliance including preparation of corporate tax returns
• Numeracy, computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Ability to prioritise, problem solve and work under pressure
• Understands confidentiality and exercises discretion
