A world leading and international business require a Manager in Financial Reporting to take responsibility for two people and the reporting and SOX requirements. The company are very established with a global presence.

Role

This is a great opportunity to use your existing accounting technical knowledge as well as strong interpersonal skills to drive and motivate a team as well as manage BAU and projects.

This role will be based in the City and manage a team of two qualified accountants to:

o deliver accurate results for UK & European entities

o understanding and ensuring the correct accounting treatment

o deliver insightful variance analysis and forecasting of future costs to P&L

· Coordination of financial reporting for the UK team

· Legal entity controller and financial reporting for these entities

· Be a key point of contact with the auditors

· Work effectively with other teams including Management Information

Experience

Qualified Accountant with post qualified experience in Financial Reporting and Control. You will have the ability to business partner with senior people in the organisation and a high degree of initiative. This opportunity seeks an individual who can demonstrate leadership in business as usual and change processes. You will need to inspire and motivate the team to perform and develop intellectual solutions for business issues.

SOX is ideal but not essential.

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000
