We want to speak with experienced Group Management Accountants who have recently worked within the property sector and are immediately available.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation of Admin analysis
• Review invoices posted through the system
• Accounting for administrative costs ensuring they have been reflected correctly on the accounting system and prepare accrual and prepayment journals
• Liaise with the joint venture finance team on posting development manager fees
• Prepare quarterly report for all Budget Centres with variance analysis, including cost review meetings with budget holders across the business
• Preparation of quarterly Admin pack for submission to the Executives
• Preparation of analysis for Budget
• Preparation of the bi-annual Key Statistics Pack for the Executives
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations on a bi-annual basis
• Assist the Group Management Reporting Manager with the preparation of various reports including the quarterly Group Management pack and annual Budget
• Assist Group Tax Manager
• Preparation of the quarter Group VAT return workings and reconciliations
• Preparation of the monthly CIS Returns, CIS registered supplier verification & ongoing record keeping
• Assist in the preparation of various schedules & data collation for tax compliance purposes (no prior tax knowledge required)
• Review current processes and ensure all procedures are documented correctly, identifying areas for improvement
• Develop a detailed understanding and knowledge of the individual business units and the wider company
• Develop good working relationships with all stakeholders particularly the finance teams in the Business Units

Skills:

• Previous experience within a management accounting team
• Previous experience within the property industry
• Good Microsoft knowledge with a high level of Excel skills
• Recently qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
