Job description

My Client are a multi-channel investment business based in Soho. They have expertise in the media, infrastructure, real-estate and education investment sectors and distribute their packaged retail investment products through third party financial advisers. They also manage institutional funds and distribute to investment consultants, pension funds, local authorities and other institutional customers.

They are searching for an Investment Reporting Associate to join their growing marketing team.

The marketing team is responsible for all of our client communications and the investment reporting function ensures that all existing investors and advisers receive useful, timely and accurate investment updates. These reports consist of investment commentary, graphics, portfolio updates and financial statements.

Key responsibilities

The role holder will drive forward all aspects of the investor reporting process, including:

  • Scheduling of client reports in the client reporting calendar
  • Collection of data and commentaries to produce each report
  • Extraction of data and client lists from CRM (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Fulfilment of mailing via both email and hard copy
  • Management of mailing house for hard copy reporting

You will work with key systems to enable the smooth running of this

  • CRM to extract client contact and investment data
  • Email marketing system to build and send reporting emails
  • Project Management tool to keep up to date with the reporting schedule, communicate requirements to other teams and deliver reporting on time

You will be required to liaise with a number of colleagues across the business including

  • Working closely with the Marketing Executive to optimise use of the email marketing system, email templates and list management
  • Working with the Business Systems team to trouble shoot any data issues and use their expertise to ensure all client reporting data is accurate
  • Working with investment teams and senior management to gather reporting information and receive sign off before reports are sent

Role requirements

  • The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated and proactive with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to think ahead, prioritise tasks, manage timelines and meet deadlines in a pressurised environment is essential
  • You should be comfortable working with data and interested in the potential for data to enhance processes and systems.
  • Advanced excel skills are important and experience working with a CRM system and mass email system would be highly beneficial
  • Good written communication skills and ability to proof read communications
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and drive to deliver innovative solutions
  • You should be a good verbal communicator, committed to collaborating with colleagues across the business and supporting the wider marketing team
