Junior Management Accountant- FRENCH SPEAKING

A market leading media company are looking to hire a French speaking Junior Management Accountant to join their growing team. They offer a structured progression path within the company and therefore this role will suit an ambitious individual with the passion to qualify as an accountant.

The Junior Management Accountant will report directly into the Financial Controller and receive training and support on a daily basis.

The Financial Controller has specified that candidates come with good academics, are fluent in French and hold some practical work experience to show their interest in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of month management accounts pack
• Work with the Management accounts to provide robust weekly cash reports
• Ensure that tight cost control through constant monitoring of Credit card spend
• Assist the management accounts function in the development improvement of current processes/ functionality
• Work towards fully understanding both the accounts payable and receivables process. Be able to fully run and provide cover to the team when needed in these functions
• Understanding how AP/ AR modules fit into the reporting function of the team
• Own the transactional side aspects of all the entities in the group
• Manage the credit control and billing process for each product
• Manage AR mailbox correspondence and respond within a timely manner
• Provide adhoc reporting and analysis depending on the business needs

Requirements

• Univeristy graduate (2:1 and above)
• AP work experience required - 6 months minimum
• Fluent in French
• In the early stages of an accountancy qualification or committed to studying towards ACCA/CIMA
• Strong Excel, Powerpoint and general computer skills
• Sociable personality - outgoing, confident communicator
• Ambitious, driven by a career in Accounting
• Flexibility in approach to managing own work load
• Adaptable, quick to pick up new concepts and eager to solve problems

Salary: £23000 + study support
