About Us
Our client, an Australian company, is looking to add an ACA\CA qualified management accountant to there team for the next 6 months. Ideally the successful candidate will be Newly qualified.
About the Role:Reporting to the Financial Controller has responsibility for all monthly management reporting, budget preparation and forecasting.
Key Accountability's and Responsibilities:
This is a broad role that requires a pro-active, hands on Management Accountant. The business is expending traumatically providing the opportunity to be heavily involved in setting up all type of financial models and ad hoc projects.
Management Reporting
- Set up and prepare annual budgets and monthly re forecasting
- Set up and preparing cash flow forecast
- Deliver monthly profit and loss statements to the board efficiently and accurately with meaningful commentaries
- Set up resultful financial models to provide insightful analysis for business in different level
- Financial and data analysis of large volumes of information, deliver and present monthly margin reports to senior management on time
- Deliver monthly profit and loss statements to the board efficiently and accurately with meaningful commentaries
- Set up business cases, prepare analysis to track the outcome
- Build effective and co-operative relationships within the wider business to assist in business decisions
- Assist in the development of the company's financial systems and operating processes
- Assist in annual and half year statutory accounts and audit
- Other ad hoc requirements from management

- Coordinate with shared services and front office management and staff
Qualifications & experience
- Newly Qualifed ACA\CA essential
- Travel industry or internet industry experience ideal
- Financial modelling experience is a bonus

- Strong understanding and knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Financial and risk management
- Excel financial modelling experience
Software Applications
- Xero experience is advantage
- Advance skill in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint is must
Outputs and Deliverables
- Build up necessary financial models to meet current requirement and future expansion
- Manage preparation of monthly management accounts to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial results
- Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Seek continuous improvement in all areas
- Establish and maintain a finance partner relationship across all levels of the Company.
