Due to recent growth, my client is looking for a Management Accountant to drive an uplift in reporting and commercial analysis to drive profitability. Reporting to the Finance Manager and working collaboratively across departments, you would be joining a strong team in our vibrant West End Office.

About the role:

• Proactively set up monthly suites of reports, run on a regular cycle and provide quality variance analysis. Build quality reports from scratch, in a repeatable manner;
• Prepare month-end adjustment journals, balance sheet reconciliations, confirmation of intercompany balances, review of prepayments and accruals
• Setting up and maintaining data extraction from various systems
• Requires a commercial mindset, able to present information to various areas of the business in a structured manner accompanied by commercial analysis;
• Ensure accurate and up to date entry of all transactions
• Knowledge of financial principles, to apply to reporting parameters and data rules;
• Strong Stakeholder management skills to determine requirements and deliver required reports to stakeholders;
• Create models', dashboards and templates to support commercial analysis;
• Support ad-hoc projects with analysis and data to support commercial viability;
• Assist with SAP and reporting systems enhancements where necessary;
• Provide commercial support with budgeting and forecasting across the global business;
• Continually scanning for technology that can support business growth and efficiency;
• Proactive partner to senior management;
• Drive an ongoing focus on quality data and reporting;
• Experience with Maconomy
• Propose KPI's to management which will assist with driving business growth. Provide data to report on new KPI's;

About you:

You have (or be working towards) a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA). You are a strong team player who is happy to be hands on and work closely with the founder and management team. You are proactive, driven, with an eagerness to develop your skills and knowledge in a SME environment.

This role would suit candidates with an interest in systems accounting, and commercial analysis. It is best suited to a candidate able to be flexible in their working style, with some projects highly autonomous, and others very collaborative.

In addition, you have:

• Strong written and oral English skills;
• An interest in, and passion for the Media industry
• Strong attention to detail.
