• Finance Project for a global project rolling out at a media agency based in London
• Office days: upto 3 days per week with 2 days from home

The role:

• Create the combined master budget to track project costs across various workstreams
• Supporting the Latest View submission process for the project
• Working closely with project managers to provide accurate forecasting across project expenditure, providing insight and challenge into the data
• Complete ad hoc reporting and analysis as required across capital projects and P&L analysis across the project
• Support for the Finance team as required around the budgeting and corporate reporting processes for the project
• Challenge and influence users of the information provided to ensure that they fully understand the information and are drawing the right conclusions and actions from it.
• Providing timely and accurate reporting providing a high standard of analysis to enhance decision making
• Management of PO transfers, receipting and manual accruals on a periodic basis
• Supporting the project manager with day-to-day running of project related tasks;
• Ad-hoc excel based analysis for project
• Performing project administration (including meeting preparation, co-ordination and minute-taking);
• Drive cross functional engagement whilst building good working relationships with key stakeholders

The candidate:

• They are looking for a Pro active, self starter and someone who will think through project and make suggestions. Confidence is needed
• This role is in a Global team working with Finance Project Managers, Procurement Managers- all 3 teams work together. There are Business analysts in group (but all in different locations) such as Europe, US, India, Australia and Africa
• Systems they use is Maconomy but this role is excel heavy
