Senior Financial Accountant (Real Estate)

As a rapidly expanding real estate group, this company prides themselves in their integrated approach with activities across the development spectrum. They have a diversified portfolio across commercial properties, community retail centres and residential developments across the UK. The company is currently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for a long-term contract, reporting directly to the Group Reporting Manager.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

• Assist in the preparation of the consolidated group financial statements compliant with IFRS within strict timelines;
• Assist in the preparation of the individual statutory financial statements for the group subsidiaries compliant with FRS 101/FRS 102 within strict timelines;
• Prepare information and analysis as requested by auditors;
• Prepare analysis required by tax advisors;
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for specified accounts; and
• Ad hoc requests to support the Financial Reporting Manager and Group Financial Reporting Manager.

The ideal candidate will be CA/CPA/ACCA/ACA qualified with minimum 3 years of commercial experience. You should also demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills along with acute attention to detail.
