Job description

Our client, a leading Chartered Accountants firm, are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to help develop and executive the talent acquisition strategy.

You will be responsible for all recruitment activity across the business. This is a newly created, standalone role working for a rapidly expanding company where you can really put your mark and support its strategic growth in the coming years.

Key responsibilities:

  • Aid the interim HR Director in developing an organizational wide talent acquisition strategy, which is aligned to the overall strategic growth plans of the business
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies/plans with directors and line managers - with particular focus on direct sourcing
  • Develop deep understanding of skillset, experience needed to advance hiring across the organization
  • Create talent pools for future needs of the organization
  • Position Talent Acquisition as a trusted advisor
  • Conduct thorough discussions with hiring managers and team members to understand the needs of the role
  • Guide candidates and hiring managers through the entire hiring cycle from identification to offer negotiation
  • Collaborate with Marketing to create and implement brand marketing strategies to attract and retain talent
  • Maintain compliance with all legal, regulatory requirements for the hiring process
  • Partner with the HR Assistant/business to ensure successful onboarding for new employees
  • Create and update all job postings and specifications and manage approval and review process
  • Manage the ATS system
  • Manage relationships with outside agencies as necessary
  • Keep recruitment trackers and reporting up to date

Skills and experience:

  • Significant experience in an internal talent acquisition role
  • Experience recruiting highly technical roles
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, with a partnership approach
  • Passion for exceptional candidate experience for all applicants
  • Proactive, responsive, and able to balance shifting priorities and ensure that deadlines are met and expectations are exceeded
  • Ability to build and effectively manage relationships with external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication ability, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employer branding
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards
  • Previous experience in auditing and compliance is desirable, but not essential
