HR Assistant - Interim £100 - 150 Day Rate


My client a global Retail firm are looking for a HR Assistant to join there team on a temporary basis. It is essential for this role that suitable applicants have a previous experience within HR at an assistant level ideally within a head office. You should also have strong communication skills, written and verbal as this role will be working with various teams across the wider business on HR matters.You will be Involved in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees.


DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Answering employee questions
  • Processing incoming mail
  • Creating and distributing documents
  • Participating in recruitment efforts
  • Providing customer service to organization employees
  • Serving as a point of contact with benefit vendors/administrators
  • Maintaining computer system by updating and entering data
  • Setting appointments and arranging meetings
  • Maintaining calendars of HR management team
  • Compiling reports and spreadsheets and preparing spreadsheets
  • Processing payroll, which includes ensuring vacation and sick time are tracked in the system
  • Answering payroll questions
  • Facilitating resolutions to any payroll errors
  • Participating in benefits tasks, such as claim resolutions, reconciling benefits statements, and approving invoices for payment
